Architectural aluminium front doors are now available in a matching kitset aluminium frame. Whilst its chunky profile is designed to look like a timber entry frame, it offers superior durability and low maintenance.

The Aluminium Strata 160 entry frame is suitable for new builds and retrofit. For install you will require at least an advanced handyman / tradesman level of skill. Durable powder coat finish to match windows and/or door.

Features of the Aluminium Strata 160 Frame:

– Specifically designed and engineered for Australian construction systems and wall types.
– All clean, modern butt joins.
– Kitset – ready to assemble frame.
– Suitable for new builds and retrofit.
– Windows pre glazed and door ready to hang.
– Double-glazed.
– 38mm low profile threshold.
– Threshold can be rebated into concrete or can sit on existing floor.
– Concealed fixings.
– Fully powder coated – any Interpon or Dulux colour.
– Comes on standard pallet (2.7 x 1.2 m max).
– Frames up to and including 2.7 x 2.7.
– Fits all Parkwood 41mm Aluminium Doors.
– 160mm overall width.

IMPORTANT – BAL Rating is based on AS3959 and demonstrates compliance for the frame only. It provides no compliance for the door fitted into the frame or for the complete unit.

BAL
  • Frame complies up to BAL40 “deemed to comply” where unglazed. Glazing is allowed – 5mm Toughened glass must be used on the exterior pane. The interior pane can be 5.38 Laminated. The sidelites MUST be screened or protected with shutters.
  • When glazed, with no screens or shutters, frame complies up to BAL19.
Glazing
  • Unless the frame is BAL rated glass must be at least 5.38 Laminated or 4mm Toughened.
  • Double glazing must be between 18 and 20mm thick.

Our kitset aluminium frames are powder-coated in a colour of your choice for low maintenance and can endure all weather. You can choose to either have your frame matching your door colour or have it as a different colour all together.
