They are now successfully supplying their windows with Parkwood aluminium front doors.
Parkwood sat down with Robert Chiriano, Business Owner-Operator, to find out why they now offer Parkwood aluminium front doors with their window packages.
Why can’t customers just use the doors you offer them? “Sometimes, they do, but our own options are very limited – either fully glazed or with mid-rails.” He explains that customers normally want something solid and architectural as their entrance door.
”We give customers choices. You’ve got to give them service and options. People don’t want to be going to different places for their windows and their front doors. Especially if they have confidence and trust in you.

However, there is an interesting catch! Whilst some customers ask outright if they can get a front door with their windows, most are not yet aware. “They normally expect to go elsewhere for a timber door.
“So, we hand out the Parkwood brochure or ask them to look on the website. We can also show them the samples and sections of doors we have in our showroom.”
Once a front door is chosen, it is simply ordered from Parkwood either using the manual order form, or their online portal door configurator. It is received in time to be hung in Unique’s own door frame and sent out with the windows. An additional on-site protective wrap can be added, if necessary, designed to be left in place while the door is hung in the factory with hardware, and then fitted on site.
Unique Windows & Doors now have an easy upsell product they can add-on to any applicable orders. This helps to increase the sales value of the total job, supporting total revenue and margins.
