Parkwood powder coated aluminium front doors were chosen for their contemporary aesthetics and high thermal properties. Which was required as they were exposed to the weather in the cold Bowral climate the Thermtek doors keep the cold out and heat in with no maintenance.
The builder was able to source a complete window+door package, so their homes moved more quickly into the ‘lock-up’ stage, enabling them to secure their first major deposit earlier. The result was a consistent powder coated aluminium suite for all exterior joinery.

A successful result within reach for both the fabricator and the builder
Quay3 would be able to secure savings in time and money. By saving on the requirement for a carpenter to fit the door on site, there was one less trade to organise. The front door would not have to be purchased separately from the building merchant as it is all agreed within the window package.
The window fabricator is able to secure a major add-on to their sale with minimal production effort or labour required. A front door is usually the less price-sensitive item in an exterior building envelope. The right design and level of quality is absolutely critical.
